About Us
The Northwest Territories Amateur Speed Skating Association is dedicated to promoting and developing the sport of speed skating for the people of the Northwest Territories. We have been in existence for over 25 years and have been the proud hosts of two Arctic Winter Games (1998 and 2008) and many NWT Speed Skating Championships.
The NWTASSA is directed by an elected executive and board and is funded through Sport North. We seek to provide additional funding each year by applying for further grants from various sources.
