The NWTASSA will be sending a full team of 16 skaters and two coaches to the 2012 Games to be held March 3-10, 2012 in Whitehorse, YT.
Any skater who has registered for AWG with Sport North is expected to meet all deadlines for payments etc. Please see additional details in the Sport North handbook below and the details on team selection that follow.
AWG Territorial Trials Waiver Form
Territorial Team Selection
Territorial Trials for speed skating will be held in Yellowknife from January 26 – January 28, 2012.
§ All skaters, coaches and chaperones advancing from the regional trials to the Territorial Trials must be registered with Sport North by December 21, 2011.
§ Registration fee of $100 must be paid to Sport North by December 21, 2011 .
§ Accommodations in Yellowknife for the Territorial Trials are the responsibility of each regional team. Please make your reservations early.
§ Yellowknife Speed Skating Club volunteers and officials will run the Territorial Trials meet.
§ Practice times, competition dates and times plus heats etc will be sent at a later date.
